Development of the real estate sector in Turkey in 2019 – Decline in mortgage financed property sales in July
In July, 102,236 properties were sold, 17,5% less than in July 2018. Istanbul took first place with 17,279 transfers and a share of 16,9%, followed by Ankara with 9,491 (9,3%) and Izmir with 5,576 transfers (5,5%).

In June, 61,355 properties were sold, 48,6% less than in June 2018. Istanbul took first place with 10,060 transfers and a share of 16,4%, followed by Ankara with 5,430 (8,9%) and Antalya with 3,390 transfers (5,5%).
