Development of the Real Estate Sector in Turkey in June 2026 – House and Commercial Property Sales Statistics
In Türkiye, a total of 129,979 houses were sold in June 2026, representing an increase of 15.8% compared to the same month of the previous year.
New house sales increased by 23.1% to 43,406 units, while existing house sales increased by 12.5% to 86,573 units. New house sales accounted for 33.4% of total house sales, while existing house sales represented 66.6%.
Mortgaged house sales increased by 72.1% to 25,993 units. Other house sales increased by 7.1% to 103,986 units. During the January–June 2026 period, total house sales reached 699,516 units, representing a decrease of 3.1% compared to the same period of 2025.
House sales to foreign buyers increased by 20.1% to 2,015 units, accounting for 1.6% of all house sales. Russian citizens purchased the highest number of properties with 381 sales, followed by Ukrainian and Iranian citizens with 170 sales each.
A total of 16,565 commercial properties were sold in June 2026, representing an increase of 19.2% compared to June 2025. New commercial property sales increased by 30.8% to 5,126 units, while existing commercial property sales increased by 14.6% to 11,439 units.
Mortgaged commercial property sales increased by 86.7% to 745 units, while other commercial property sales increased by 17.2% to 15,820 units.
