One of the most important transportation routes serving the area is the D-100 TEM Expressway, which provides a direct connection between the European and Asian sides of Istanbul and runs through Uskudar. Another key road in the area is the E-5 Highway, which provides easy access to other parts of Istanbul and beyond.
