Development of the real estate sector in Turkey in 2019 – Increase in mortgage financed property sales in August

In August a total of 110,538 properties were sold, 5,2% more than in August 2018. Istanbul took first place with 15,881 transfers and a share of 14,4%, followed by Ankara with 10,707 (9,7%) and Izmir with 6,025 transfers (5,5%).
