A total of 134,731 real estate were sold in June 2021, which is 29,1% less than June 2020. Istanbul ranks first with 25,833 house sales with a share of 19.2%, while Ankara comes second with (9.9% share) and 13,401 total sales, Izmir came third with(5.6% share) and 7,522 total sales.

Mortgage-financed sales decreased %71,5 compared to June 2020 at 28,878. and %21,4 total sales share, (June 2020: %53,4 ). In mortgage sales, Istanbul ranked first with 6,217 house sales.

As a result of self-financing transfers 105,853 houses were exchanged. Self-financing transfers increased by %19,6 compared to June 2020. Istanbul was again the first with 19,616 real estate sales, Ankara came second with 9,412 sales. Followed with Izmir 5,714 sales.

40,094 houses were sold for the first time ( new construction sales ). The number of homes sold for the first time decreased %31,6 compared to June 2020. of all home sales new real estate sales share in Turkey %29,8 (June 2020: %30,9 ). Istanbul had the largest share in new construction sales, followed by Ankara and Izmir.

In the sale of second-hand real estate, a total of 49,639 second-hand houses were sold. Second-hand sales decreased %28,0 compared to June 2020.

Real estate sales to foreigners in Turkey over the same month of the previous year increased %185.3. The most popular cities: Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara, Mersin, and Bursa .
