A total of 107,785 real estate were sold in July 2021, which is 53,0% less than July 2020. Istanbul ranks first with 18,884 house sales with a share of 17.5%, while Ankara comes second with (9.8% share) and 10,605 total sales, Izmir came third with(5.4% share) and 5,782 total sales.

Mortgage-financed sales decreased %84,3 compared to July 2020 at 20,553. and %19,1 total sales share, (July 2020: %57,0 ). In mortgage sales, Istanbul ranked first with 4,365 house sales.

As a result of self-financing transfers 87,232 houses were exchanged. Self-financing transfers decreased by %11,6 compared to July 2020. Istanbul was again the first with 14,519 real estate sales, Ankara came second with 8,022 sales. Followed with Izmir 4,492 sales.

32,672 houses were sold for the first time ( new construction sales ). The number of homes sold for the first time decreased %51,9 compared to July 2020. of all home sales new real estate sales share in Turkey %30,3 (July 2020: %29,6 ). Istanbul had the largest share in new construction sales, followed by Ankara and Izmir.

In the sale of second-hand real estate, a total of 75,113 second-hand houses were sold. Second-hand sales decreased %53,5 compared to July 2020.

Real estate sales to foreigners in Turkey over the same month of the previous year increased %64.0. The most popular cities: Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara, Mersin, and Bursa .
