In Türkiye, house sales increased by 5.1% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 110,795. The provinces with the highest number of house sales were İstanbul with 19,820, Ankara with 10,203, and İzmir with 7,513, while the provinces with the lowest numbers were Ardahan with 28, Bayburt with 33, and Tunceli with 63.

Mortgaged house sales reached 18,225 in March, a 41.5% increase compared to March 2024. They accounted for 16.4% of all house sales. In the January–March period, mortgaged sales rose by 87.3% to 51,729.
4,331 of the mortgaged house sales in March and 12,143 in the January–March period were first sales.
Other house sales reached 92,570 in March, a 0.1% increase. They accounted for 83.6% of all sales. In the first three months, other house sales rose 12.7% to 284,057.
33,307 houses were sold for the first time in March, a 3.2% decrease compared to March 2024. First sales accounted for 30.1% of total sales. In January–March, first sales reached 99,876 – a 13.2% increase.
Second-hand sales reached 77,488, a 9.1% increase in March, representing 69.9% of all house sales. From January to March, second-hand sales rose 23.3% to 235,910.
In March, 1,574 houses were sold to foreigners, a 11.5% decrease from March 2024. Foreigners accounted for 1.4% of sales. İstanbul led with 635 sales, followed by Antalya with 496 and Mersin with 141.
In the January–March period, foreign sales dropped 19.5% to 4,578.
In March, most house sales by nationality were made to citizens of Russia (275), Iran (153), and Ukraine (124).
