Mortgaged House Sales
Mortgaged house sales reached 16,778 in February, a 90.1% increase compared to February 2024. They accounted for 14.9% of all house sales. In the January–February period, mortgaged house sales increased by 127.3% and reached 33,504.
Other House Sales
Other house sales reached 96,040 in February, a 12.9% increase compared to February 2024. They made up 85.1% of all house sales. For January–February, these sales rose by 20.1% to 191,487.
House Sales by Type
33,784 houses were sold for the first time in February, an increase of 18.2%. First sales made up 29.9% of all transactions. In January–February, first sales totaled 66,569 – a 23.6% increase.
Second-hand sales reached 79,034, an increase of 21.0%. These accounted for 70.1% of total house sales. In the first two months of the year, second-hand sales totaled 158,422, marking a 31.6% growth.
House Sales to Foreigners
In February, 1,457 houses were sold to foreigners, a decrease of 21.1% compared to last year. Foreign sales made up 1.3% of total transactions. Top provinces were İstanbul with 539, Antalya with 503, and Mersin with 89.
In January–February, foreign house sales dropped 23.1% to 3,004.
House Sales by Nationality
The most houses in February were sold to citizens of Russia (256), Iran (133), and Iraq (99).

Other house sales reached 95,447 in January, a 28.3% increase compared to January 2024, and accounted for 85.1% of all house sales.

32,785 houses were sold for the first time in January. In Türkiye, first-time house sales increased by 29.8% compared to January 2024 and accounted for 29.2% of all house sales.
Second-hand house sales reached 79,388 in January, a 44.2% increase compared to January 2024, accounting for 70.8% of all house sales.

In January, 1,547 houses were sold to foreigners. House sales to foreigners decreased by 24.9% compared to January 2024 and accounted for 1.4% of all house sales. The provinces with the highest numbers were İstanbul with 611, Antalya with 469, and Mersin with 118.
House Sales by Nationality
In January, the most house sales by nationality were to citizens of Russia with 248, Iran with 162, and Iraq with 103.
