The provinces with the highest number of house sales were İstanbul with 17,656, Ankara with 9,428, and İzmir with 5,987, while the lowest numbers were recorded in Ardahan (38), Bayburt (62), and Hakkari (81).

Mortgaged House Sales

Mortgaged house sales reached 14,484 in June, up 112.6% year-on-year, accounting for 13.4% of all sales. In the January–June period, mortgaged sales rose by 100.5% to 103,090.

Of these, 3,384 mortgaged sales in June and 24,446 in January–June were first sales.

Other House Sales

Other house sales totaled 93,239 in June, up 28.6% year-on-year, representing 86.6% of all transactions. During January–June, other sales increased by 19.3% to 588,803.

House Sales by Type

First sales amounted to 33,569 in June (+32.0% y/y), accounting for 31.2% of total sales. In January–June, first sales rose 19.8% to 207,624.

Second-hand sales reached 74,154 in June (+37.6% y/y), making up 68.8% of total sales. In January–June, second-hand sales increased 30.3% to 484,269.

House Sales to Foreigners

Sales to foreigners totaled 1,565 in June 2025 (+8.7% y/y), with a share of 1.5% of all sales. The top provinces were Antalya (603), İstanbul (521), and Mersin (128).

In January–June, sales to foreigners decreased by 10.6% to 9,354. By nationality, most purchases were made by citizens of the Russian Federation (326), Ukraine (111), and Iran (109).
